I don’t think I’ve ever had quite this variety of rare colored and beautifully cut gemstones in my showroom before now. The reason? I’m just back from the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, and I find the highest quality stones, the most beautiful cabochon cuts, and the most extravagant colors, all right there at the show.
That’s because this show in particular attracts my favorite gemstone cutters and craftsman from Germany, and interesting and unusual stones, fossils, minerals, beads, and natural art forms from all over the world. I walk around, taking in everything from the unbelievable high-end rubies, sapphires, and alexandrites… to simple beads and trinkets. I spent a full week at the Tucson show, searching out gemstones that “speak to me.”
Right now, for example, I have a stellar selection of aquamarines, and red and green tourmalines. But I couldn’t stop myself. I added peridots of many colors, shapes and sizes, and then moved on to add amethysts, citrines, and orange garnets. I also brought back a selection of cabochon-cut gems from one of the German cutters that I have worked with over the years — and some great carved gemstone drusy agates from Dieter Lorenz of Germany.
What’s your favorite stone? In what color? Your favorite cut? Your birthstone? Chances are, I have what you are looking for right now. Plus, I can show you what is new, fresh and exciting in the world of fashion, gem stones and jewelry. Stop in for a look – pick the one that talks to you, and we can create your next “gem.”
