Aronstam “Steps out in Style” in diamonds and pearls to support Dress for Success fundraiser

Dress for Success is a passion of mine because it provides immediate benefits to underserved Indianapolis-area women entering the job market. DFS provides professional attire shoes, jewelry and handbags as well as a network of support and career development to promote the economic independence to help women thrive at work and in life.

As we have for the past nine years, Aronstam Fine Jewelers will once again be a part of Dress for Success “Stepping Out in Style.”

Presented by PNC Bank, the 11th year Stepping Out In Style event will be held on September 27th at the JW Marriott. Nearly 1,000 men and women will celebrate this fantastic organization with a cocktail reception, dinner and fashion show that featuring prominent businesswomen in Indy modeling clothing and some of my nicest pieces of jewelry.

This year, we are supporting the DFS event with over $25,000 in jewelry items to help raise funds for this fantastic organization. The Aronstam “Diamond Dig” is a hugely popular part of the evening, with almost everyone in attendance paying $10 for a chance to ‘dig in’ to uncover one of my 75 donated jewelry items.

As always, I donate a very special custom-made Grand Prize. This year’s the piece is especially spectacular: A sterling and 18k yellow gold, diamond and Tahitian pearl necklace. The strand of black and silver Tahitian pearls is fitted with ends that make it possible to interchange decorative clasps or pendants on the necklace.  The custom design clasp is in oxidized sterling silver and 18k yellow gold and is 2 sided. The top side contains a row of diamonds ending in an 18ky yellow gold dome, and the other side appears to as diamond stars in a night sky randomly scattered.  Valued at over $5800.00, this gorgeous piece is waiting for one very lucky Dress for Success supporter.
